DEATH         THE LANARK ERA          Wed. March 29th, 1911

At Ardoch, Tuesday, March 21st., Alexander Munro, aged 67 years.   A native of Lanark

Village, he was the son of Dr. Munro, one of the early families.   His brother William is

retired in London, England; David is a physician; John,a merchant at Watson's Crs.;

James, a merchant at McDonald's Crs.; and Alex. was a nerchant at Ardoch.   Their only

sister, is a Mrs. H. Hawkins, of Morristown, NY.   He was married to Margaret Stewart, a

sister of Mr. Robert Stewart, of Lanark.   They had three children; Robert, of Ardoch;

Alex. in Alberta; and Katie (Mrs. R. M. McDonald).

Burial in Ardoch, Frontenac Cnty.
