WEDDING PATTERSON---KERR
A quiet wedding took place at the manse, Crystal City, at 6 p.m. on Saturday, November 7,
when Mrs. Elizabeth Kerr (nee Elizabeth Deachman) was married to James Patterson,
with Rev. D. B. Thierry as minister.
Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Bissett attended. A wedding dinner followed the cermony at the home
of Mrs. Bessie Cudmore.
Mr. and Mrs. Patterson now have their home in the residence recently vacated by Mr. and
Mrs. Porter and family.

At the residence of the Bride's mother, Miss Lizzie Deachman, was wed to Mr. John Kerr,
harnassmaker, of Ashton. The attendants were Miss Nina Kerr and Mr. James Deachman.

DEATH HAROLD KERR THE LANARK ERA Wed. October 18th., 1933
Near Crystal City, Man. as a result of a car accident on Oct. 7th., Harold Kerr, aged 32 years. He was the son of Mr. & Mrs. John Kerr, of Crystal City and formerly of Lanark.
He was born in Lanark Village but went west about twenty years ago. Survived by his
parents, three brothers and four sisters; William, in Chicago; Charles, in Winnipeg;
Gordon, in Sask.; (Effie) Mrs. W. Bissett, of Crystal City; (Nina) Mrs. Roy Scales, of Winnipeg; Bessie and Marjorie, at home. Mr. John Deachman of Lanark is an uncle.
