DEATH            THE LANARK ERA          Wed. May 1st., 1935

In Lanark Twp., April 24th., Christena Stewart, widow of the late Matthew Peacock, in her

84th. year.   A daughter of the late Robert Stewart and Catherine Deachman, she was one

of a family of fourteen, of which just two survive; William Stewart, of Fallbrook and

Mrs. Jas. McGee, of Wingham.   She married in 1871 to Mr. Peacock, who died in 1924 and

also lost two children in infancy.   Eight children survive; George, Tena and Edna, on the

homestead; Frank, at Rosetta; William, of Lanark; Lloyd and Robert, of Spirit River, Alta.;

and Addie (Mrs. John C. James), of Rosetta.   John and Stuart are deceased.
