OBITUARY MARGARET CUSACK
SYDNEY 1987
Margaret Cusack, 93, of 480 Prince Street, Sydney, died Sunday in Sydney.
Born in Ingonish, she was a daughter of the late George Hines and Louise (MacDougall)
Hines MacIntyre.
A member of St. Theresa's Parish, Sydney, she served for many years on the executive of the
Ladies Aid and was a member of the Catholic Women's League. She was a graduate of the
Provincial Normal College and taught in the Grand Lake area prior to her marriage.
She is survived by three sons, George, Worchester Mass.; Gerald, New Victoria;
Bill, Halifax; six daughters, Eileen (Mrs. Doug Landry), Louise (Mrs. David Coffin) and
Mrs. Patricia Keough, all of Sydney, Pauline (Mrs. George McDonald), Don Mills, Ont.;
Carmel (Mrs. Jack Brydges), Kirkland, Que.; Cheryl (Mrs. Don Bildstein), Halifax;
a stepbrother, George McIntyre; 37 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Michael; two sons, Jack and Frank; and a sister,
Elizabeth McLean.
The body will be in T. W. Curry's Chapel, Sydney, after 7 p.m.today. Funeral will held 11 a.m.
Wednesday in St. Theresa's Church, Rev. Eugene Morris officiating. Burial will be in
Resurrection Cemetery, Sydney Forks ?.(not accurate).

Mr. and Mrs. Michael Cusack, 480 Prince St. Sydney, Sydney, celebrated their 60th wedding
anniversary, Friday, February 23.
A reception was held at the home of their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Doug Landry,
Pitt St. where over 203 persons signed the guest book. The honorees received many messages.
bouquets and gifts. Eight of the ten Cusack children were present for the occasion.
Mr. and Mrs. Cusack were married at Sacred Heart Church, February 23, 1913

Pauline fourth daughter of Michael and Margaret Cusack married George (Skipper) McDonald
on Dec. 23, 1972; in Toronto. They have no children.
George died in 2003, in Toronto.

OBITUARY FRANK J. CUSACK
DIES IN QUEBEC
After an illness of seven months due to injuries sustained while serving with a paratroop division of the First Special Service force, Frank J. Cusack, 26, well known Sydney young man,
died in military hospital at St. Anne de Bellevue, Sunday.
He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Cusack, Prince Street, and enlisted in the armed forces
after the outbreak of war in 1939.
The news of his death will be learned with deep regret by his many friends, relatives and
associates of this city and surrounding towns.
Besides his widow (Barbara), he is survived by his parents, six sisters, Eileen, Patsy, Pauline,
Mrs. David Coffin (Louise), Cheryl, and Carmel; four brothers, Jack in Montreal, George in
Ingonish, Gerald in New Victoria, and Bill in Sydney.
Burial will be in Montreal
