Hopetown, Mon. Dec. 26th., 1921, Alexander B. Yuill, aged 87 years and 10 mos.
He was born at Hopetown, the youngest of a family of eight sons and two daughters, all now
deceased. In 1858, he married Miss Jane Affleck of Hall's Mills and to them were born four
boys and two girls; William of Hall's Mills; James of Hopetown; Alex. on the homestead;
Mrs Geo. Stewart of Hopetown; and Mrs. A. M. Baird of Hopetown. Robert is deceased. For
four years before his marriage, he taught school at Galbraith. He retired from the farm in
1902 and moved to Hopetown.
Burial in Hopetown Cemetery on Wed. Dec. 28th.
